On Tuesday 17th January it was announced that 3 brothers from the same team had been signed for Chelsea. Historic yes, but it seems crazy that 5 figure sums have been spent on each of the brothers and they are not anywhere near close to finishing school.
Will they ever make into Chelsea's 1st team?? im going to take a gamble and say no. Plus how can it be suggested that boys of 12 and 13 can be unsettled at a football club. What is there to be uncertain about. This all came to light due to Luton Town loosing in the playoffs last summer. How much of an influence did they have on that? Zero. I could understand them wanting to move if they were 1st team players and had some agreement in their contract about promotion. Sadly even at such a young age money is what talks.
Good luck to them at Cheslea and there possible future in football.
